Welcome to Kayak Anglers of Eastern Pennsylvania. My name is Andy Bouloutian and I am the Eastern Pennsylvania chapter director, I work in the insurance industry and love the outdoors. I have been fishing since I was a kid and bought my first kayak about 8 years ago. I have since upgraded to a Jackson Coosa HD and love this yak. I primarily target bass, but I also love the Pike family. Pickerel are great fun, but I am now starting to target Muskie! I hope you will come on out and enjoy the events. I will be joined by outstanding fishermen Dustin Theobald, Matt Stehle Garrett Gincley and Bob Woerner. We can’t wait to get this started, meet new folks and make KA Eastern PA the best chapter we can.
The Kayak Anglers of Eastern PA runs tournaments from the Philadelphia area up north to the Poconos and will be presenting many great opportunities for anyone wanting to try their hand at kayak fishing from novice to expert. Locations will offer species from Large and Smallmouth bass to Muskie and hybrid striped bass! We are a friendly group who embrace the “Brotherly Love” attitude that Philly is famous for and look forward to testing our skills against our fellow members, while never losing sight of the fact that we are fishing for FUN and raising money for great charities all over PA. In fact 25% of all membership fees go back to a local charity.
Our goals are to introduce the sport of kayak fishing to those that are new to the sport, develop friendships, learn from each other and again HAVE Fun! We are also in the process of planning several informal get togethers to help everyone get to know each other. We want everyone to feel comfortable and welcome and we as a group will strive to do so. We are excited to get things started and have great things in store from our sponsors!
