Star KA Forum Records
This should turn into a huge thread but we need your help!

Part of the new website is a page for "Forum Records" and it will keep track of the longest hawg trough fish for each species. KA member Seth Willoughby who developed the new site with help from other members has set this all up for us so let's see em!

Fish must have been caught since KA has been in existence, so from 2013-on.

Once we have records, they will be kept here:

OK, I'll get this started. I'm sure this isn't the biggest but it was the best LMB for me caught last year on some top water action in the lilly pads.

What should we do with the Muskie & the Pike that don't fit on the HT?

RE: KA Forum Records
Great question John, I wanted to discuss how we could go about doing this.. Do we allow any measuring device for fish that are too large for the HT? Because it is a "record" I would say we have to have some kind of measurement and proof of that measurement so, I think this would be the only way. Whether that is putting 2 HT side by side or a measuring tape, doesn't matter as long as we can see some kind of actual measurement.

It's hard enough to measure a big fish by yourself. Measuring a big fish & getting photo documentation... Hahaha. All I can say is you need a little luck to make it come out ok. This is a really cool idea BTW

Are those centimeters? Or do you have a 5 foot wide kayak? Lol!

RE: KA Forum Records
Yeah I figured most fish are going to fit on a HT, so shouldn't run into too many issues. Maybe for the larger ones, angler can be pulled off on to shore and get the picture? I guess if they manage to get the photo they earned the record haha

And yeah I was thrown off with the centimeters haha.

Maybe for submissions do something like:

Full Name:
Species:
Length:
Photo:

This will make it easier for me to get everything entered in. Going to let this thread run for a week and then update the website accordingly, that way I don't have to keep updating the same ones. I figured there would be a lot of submissions at first and then it will start to level off once a certain species has a tough to beat length.

That's your metric on top, inches on bottom Hawg Trough - good for the USA and Canada! Now if I can only get to Canada...
