Missing FLW angler
Help me out here, it’s been four days since this awful tragedy occurred and we still haven’t heard anything from the recovered angler or about his condition. I’m just a little confused and have many questions. I imagine he is dealing with some heavy stuff.

I saw on FB they found the missing fisherman's body today. So sad.... I really need to wear my PFD more often.

Sad day. I saw a picture of the boat and the damage it had. That had to be a viscous accident. Lucky that one guy made it back from that at all.

What exactly happened? I heard it was due to rough water? Is that true or was there other factors involved

The family announced that the body was recovered by a commercial fishing boat and did not elaborate any further. The Angler was thrown overboard by the waves and the the other Angler couldn’t get after him due to engine damage to the boat

Very sad indeed....

I’m surprised the tournament continued in such bad weather. Going forward, they should take weather into consideration.

So many unanswered questions - and the information we read, is limited. Makes me wonder why they didn’t find Kisiah after 15 hours when the boat drifted to shore. The article mentioned that Kisiah (survivor) had a life vest, helmet, and thermal top.

Be careful out there - kayakers and boaters alike. Don’t let your passion for fishing overcome your decision making to keep you safe. Granted - even when you ‘think’ you are safe...shit can happen. Be careful out there!
